I can't believe it's the 20th! I thought I'd gotten pictures shot to put in here, but no, not a one recorded on the camera. I'll have to do them tomorrow or Sunday at home.

I can't believe it's so far into the new year already. My computer is now updated and screwed up. It was Just Fine BU(before update).It's taken 3 days to get my email back to normal and it's still Not really normal. I can't link to the net from it like I used to.
I want to get a UFO, WIP, OTN, OTH and FO section started but I'm not sure how to do that or where I want to put it. I'll stumble through in the next few weeks.
I'll be a busy bunny this next several months. My begining crochet class starts the 21st of Jan. along with the beginning knitting class which will be substitute taught by me at the request of the regular teacher.
I'll be teaching from 10:30 to 3 every Saturday for 4 Saturdays, then my crochet class from 10:30 to 12:30 for an extra 2 weeks. There will be a break of a few weeks and then I'll teach Intermmediate crochet for 6 Saturdays.
So no Saturday Knitters Not Quitters for 4 weeks starting the 21st. I'll miss you.
I've started 2 more crochet projects for grins and to show the classes what they can do with a little practice and experience.
I finished a capelet from Interweave Knits. It took about three days. I crocheted pretty solidly for that time, so if it a night time only project, it might take up to a couple of weeks. It's a short pattern, only 24 rows, and 4 or so rows of edging. It sounds simple and really, it is, but the stitches are complex and concentration is necessary. It isn't hard if you keep your mind on it and finish a row before you put it down. You have to mark your progress too. No point in getting lost- you might as well start over.
I'll get FO pictures posted the next few days along with what I've cast on and started crocheting.
I heard from my Sis in Minnesota. She and Sister and Mom LOVED the knitted gifts. Thank goodness. I wasn't sure. I haven't heard from my brother -New York's been warmer than usual this last few weeks. Hope the Irish Hiking Scarf is keeping him warm.
UPDATE: My brother likes the scarf. It's going to be well used this month when it's so cold in NYC.
